What has happened in GRAPHISOFT Master Classes 2019 in Budapest?

As the name of event is clear, it was a 2-days intense training from masters of different topics in BIM. It was very interesting to see many workshops from advance level of working with ARCHICAD to openBIM, interoperability topics and even how to be a good BIM manager and deal politely with RVT files that has many missing information for data transfer. In addition to many GRAPHISOFT senior BIM consultants, 16 international guest speakers were invited to share their experience on managing different type of projects based on what we know as building information modelling and management.

From our side, we were also preparing the second day plenary session to transfer a complex message of data transfer through openBIM and system integration approaches via a human language. To do that, I decided to show a postcard as metaphor to explain how data travel, what is the procedure, and more importantly, how to maintain the meaning and values, when the data arrives to its destination.

GRAPHISOFT Master Classes

My colleague, Ioanna Alsasua, complimented my presentation by bringing a proof of concept through deconstructing a complex openBIM and system integration workflow to practical examples. The feedback of audience that mostly were advanced users and BIM experts, were so interesting for us, where one said “I am explaining this topic with so much difficulties to my customers, and you guys just broke it down to a postcard and understandable workflow, I took some photos to rebuild my next customer presentation based on that”.

GRAPHISOFT Master Classes

The next edition of GRAPHISOFT Master Classes will be sometimes in July 2020, however the next immediate advance training event will take place in Barcelona on last week of November 2019. Yes, best of best BIM consultants from UK and Hungary will travel to Barcelona to share their experience in a 5-days intense training called “GRAPHISOFT BIM Manager Certification Program”. After the event, all participants can enter in 3 separate exams (at no extra cost) to obtain the international certificate of BIM Manager from GRAPHISOFT SE.
