A Case study at European BIM Summit 2021; addressing collaboration challenges during COVID-19 pandemic through multiple software solutions from the Nemetschek Group

With all the limitations applied to professional collaborations during the coronavirus pandemic, SIMBIM Solutions, Sanabria&Planas-Gallego Arquitectes, and northeast delegation of Elecnor Group are together pressing on with the delivery of the renovation of Fundació Pascual Maragall in Barcelona, Spain, by using multiple software solutions from the Nemetschek Group (i.e. GRAPHISOFT Archicad and BLUEBEAM Revu) as well as collaborating with other contractors that are using different software solutions. This collaborative project process involves establishing a relationship with the design and construction team to update the BIM model according to issues that need to be resolved.

We invite you to attend the European BIM Summit 2021 in Barcelona or a streaming edition to learn more about this collaborative project process through multiple software solutions. On 22nd October 2021, Dr Mohsen Shojaee-Far, CEO of SIMBIM Solutions (GRAPHISOFT, SCIA, and dRofus distributor and Bluebeam Gold Partner), will present a case study of the digital workflow of the renovation project of the Fundació Pascual Maragall building. This case study is a practical presentation on how to resolve the collaboration issues in the construction process during in-person communication problems, such as what the world experienced in the COVID-19 crisis.
