DIMBIM project selected to participate in 5th Edition of “IMPULSO EMPRENDEDOR”
SIMBIM® Solutions have attempted to unlock its values by matching its innovative structures to its strategies through a new start-up business unit that is more flexible and adaptable to local condition of North of Spain. It is where the idea of DIMBIM™ project (Design Information Management) as a strategic business unit in Pamplona initiated, and won the 5th edition of “Impulso Emprendedor” competition in the Eauropean Center of Innovative Companies in Navarra (CEIN).
This strategic business unit is another startup project that evolved from innovative activities of SIMBIM startup project. DIMBIM project will have its own structure, operations, marketing and sales, and most importantly, it will focus in a separate market (Navarra and Basque Country) with different customer segments and different market conditions.
Impulso Emprendedor is the program promoted by the Government of Navarra, through CEIN, to encourage the creation of innovative companies in Navarra. In its fifth edition, 97 business projects were presented and 16 projects were selected to enter to final competition, where only 10 project could enter to this program. DIMBIM as a finalist project, in 6th April 2017 presented in front of major business and industrial actors in North Spain such as Caja Rural de Navarra, Cinfa, Corporación Mondragón, Correos, Inycom, Jofemar, MTorres, Mutua Navarra, Uscal and Viscofan.
DIMBIM project, successfully selected as part the CEIN program, which endorsed and sponsored by Mondragon Group, as one of the leading Spanish business groups. Mondragon will act as mentor and sponsor of DIMBIM project. The development of the project, require participation in CEIN's business acceleration program. In this sense, DIMBIM, which is a fully functional and distinct business unit of SIMBIM Solutions, is developing its own strategic vision and direction towards integrated design and construction process management with help of CEIN and under support of Mondragon Group. Thanks to CEIN and Mondragon Group that provided this opportunity to enable us to penetrate a new market with new business model and innovative solutions in Pamplona (North Spain).
